Creativity...............

Thought I'd do something abit different today so I went on the Psychologies Magazine website and found this creativity style test................... this site

Having answered all the questions this is what it said............................

Creativity enriches you

Creativity is separate from the real world for you. But it’s a magical world in which you like to immerse yourself. When you’re involved in it, you get the wonderful sensation that there are no limits, that anything is possible. What you are really looking for is harmony — you want to feel you are a part of what you create. Planting flowers, writing poetry, embroidery or putting together a photo album, these are all suited to your sort of quiet creativity. You want to fall in love with what you create. You also think of creativity as a part of you in which you can take refuge and feel protected. As the psychoanalyst D Anzieu explained, creativity acts as an ‘encouraging parent — loving, enriching and supportive’. You would love to use your creativity to retreat into a world that is kind and reassuring. For you, being creative means having the chance to become one with what you create, bathe in the glory of it and allow yourself to be taken over by it. This is why you seem more suited to the sort of creativity that calls for gentleness, subtlety, harmony and patience.

I love planting flowers and nurturing things, even my job involves nurturing people! I dont write poetry but I am an embroiderer, cross stitcher, crocheter etc, and as we all know I am definately an album creater. I really do love what I create and I feel I put alot of myself and that love , dont puke, into the work I do on my crafting. I really so believe that the creative stuff I do helps me to relax and feel positive. I also love using my hands to do things. This is one of the quotes they asked you to choose and I loved this one as I am reflective, that comes from my personality and also from work as reflection is central to how we learn.

So this week has been quite challenging on the work front. I have spent each day trying to get my paperwork sorted and finally got up-to-date today, yey. I was the only health visitor this week so it's really helped boost my confidence knowing I can do things without relying on my other colleague.
I have been following the LSNED posts and prompts and although I havent made any pages I know what I will say for some of it. Yesterday I learnt that Ladt Gaga aids in the completion of paperwork............go Gaga. Today I learnt I will need to replace my trusty flip flops which means my feet will be unhappy. They dont like change and get all blistered with new shoes.
So a weekend of catching up, and relaxing ahead.

  2. I came out as someone who likes to share their creativity or teach it - which is very me. Love the sound of your lessons so far and very much looking forward to seeing what you make in the end.

Each time I get new thongs(flip-flops) my feet protest, I share the pain!

  4. "a method of reflection" - I like that thought very much indeed.

Not so keen on flipflops - on me, I mean, my feet just don't get on with them at all.

  5. I have a feeling if I took this quiz I'd get the same result... Creativity is a separate world for me, too.
