10 on the tenth: Merry Christmas xxx

Hello and welcome to the final 10 on the tenth for 2012 hosted by the lovely Shimelle Laine. Every month bloggers across the globe tell tales and share pictures of ten things and today I am going to share ten things I love about Christmas.

So in no particular order here are my 10 things:

This is Tatty Puppy, he belongs to my good friends Libby and Steve and they let me use him as a prop for a JYC photo prompt where we had to use our hands as a focus. So here are my hands holding him in his Xmas outfit.

Fun runs dressed as Santa which happened yesterday and what a backdrop to run past.

The Swan Hotel's display of reindeer and sleigh overlooked yet again by the Cathedral.

Another JYC photo prompt to try and take a Bokeh photo using my little point and shoot camera.

I try and but some new ornaments each year and this one from 2012. It has glitter and belles, a crafter's dream.

Carols by candlelight, this year some friends and I are going to the Cathedral carol service, so looking forward to that.

Unusual shop window displays. This is my local petshop which has the seven dwarves sleighriding their pet wares with Santa and Rudolf.

Xmas films to watch which include, Elf, A Muppet Christmas Carol and It's  A Wonderful life.

Re-reading 'a Christmas Carol'' by Charles Dickens.

Listening to Christmas music including this song by The Waitresses which I was dancing to yesterday in the Market Square.

and listening to the divine voice of Kirsty McColl singing with the Pogues..................my two fave Xmas songs................

and Saint Etienne I was born on Xmas Day to which I sing ''I was born on Xmas Eve''

  3. That's a lovely mix for the 10th - and you have a wonderfully imaginative pet-shop owner! Nicely caught Santas too with that splendid backdrop ...
