Storytelling Sunday: It's Christmas.

Good evening and welcome to a belated Storytelling Sunday in association with Sian.

Today is a special day in the Christmas calendar because we welcome the Reindeer Parade to Wells. Yep real reindeer, real Santa and real freezing cold! I have been going every year since I moved here, not only cos it's the way my Christmas begins but because y dad is part of the team organising the event. Usually my mum and I are doing mulled wine but this year we were simply in the crowd.  So without further ado, here are some pictures of the parade and the 2 cute baby reindeer.

The town crier gets it all started......................

I told you they were real reindeer xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My good friends Steve and Libby...............

 Me and the mother xxxxxx

and the second cute little reindeer...

So now we are off and I will be back with some Journal your Christmas 2012 adventures very soon xxxx

  1. Sweet reindeer and what a lovely way to start off the christmas season! xx

  2. We are loving the reindeer pictures here! We're all oohing and aahing over the little ones. It's so good to see you this month again Jo - lots of thanks for bringing us a Christmassy story and for your tales throughout the year. Much appreciated.

  3. Lovely photos! Looks like you had a great time :)

  4. Oh how fun - Tigger is off in Bath for her first year of uni and was telling us all about the Christmas market, I'll have to tell her next year she needs to go see the reindeer too.

  5. Libby looks the real reindeer to me! Looks like such a good time.

  6. How fab - you were in a great place for photos! Happy festivities Jo - see you in 2013!

  7. Oh wow, what a super event in such a lovely place, too. Your dad did a good job! Nice to see you and your Mum :).

  8. What a lovely way to start Christmas. I have very happy memories of a pre Christmas visit to Wells - when my daughter worked there. Love the story - brought some very happy memories back for me.

  9. Oh how neat is that! Enjoyed looking at your pictures of the parade.
