Survey said..........................

Now I am not one to complain, hey who am I kidding today I have to do mammoth housework yuck. Just the thought of getting dirty and sweaty cleaning and tidying while everyone else is enjoying the sunshine does not appeal, however I have guests coming for Sunday lunch one of whom is the mother and she will be wearing her white gloves to check all is ship shape and bristol fashion so needs must. Today is also a bit sad as my friend's son is heading off to Afghanistan, and in fact is probably half way there by now.

Anyway before before I lose the will to live with the trauma of cleaning Nancy has got a survey on her blog so I thought I'd fill it in.

1. When do you feel happiest?
When I'm not doing housework!!!!  Well really when I am outside listening to the sounds of the spring and if I'm by the seaside.
2. How do you take care of yourself?
I talk........................alot. My friends know this and probably avoid conversations sometimes cos it can get heavy but hey. I also drink lots of water and try to eat fresh vegetables.
3. Are you internally (by yourself) or externally (by others) motivated?
I'm not really sure, I think it depends on the circumstances.
4. What do you do for fun?
I sing and dance, I laugh, I scrapbook, I read, I have a good time.
5. What intimidates you?
Slim people and going shopping for hard.
6. What is something you're proud of?
My soprano voice. I am so glad I have this gift.
7. Finish this sentence. I never _____________
have enough room for all my stuff.
8. Favorite vacation spot.
My fave place is Lyme Regis as you all know. As for other places I really loved New York and Australia.
9. Today is a (rate from 1 - 10)
Well because of the cleaning probably a minus 10 but later it'll be better.
10. Finish this sentence. If you knew me really well you'd know _____________.
My favourite song, the person I speak to most often and love the most in the world, how to handle me when I'm depressed, that I may appear confident on the outside but inside I am a gibbering wreck alot of the time, I use my humour to scare people away sometimes that I really like, how important my faith is, and that I am an old romantic.

So there you have it 10 new and perhaps interesting facts about me you didnt know already. So I'm off to find some mice and elves to help me clean up much like Snow White and the lovely princess from Enchanted I love that film.

Im just getting my best ballgown out ready........................

  1. Good luck with the cleaning - I have visitors next weekend so will be doing the same next week. A friend of ours is on his way home From Afganistan today - but he has left his son out there as he has jyst started his first tour of duty. You can't help but worry about them.

  2. It's cleaning for me as we're having a big family BBQ on Sunday.

  3. A bit of cleaning going on here, and then a BBQ, just like Jacky.

Great list of questions and some very interesting answers :)

  4. Yes, we will be getting out the hoover (well, dyson!) and the dusters... and maybe the bin bag too! Guests for lunch on Sunday - and tea as well. At least it provides the incentive to give the place a good scrub-up!

Good luck with the cleaning - I hope it's going well and that you get time to enjoy the late afternoon/evening sunshine! Have a lovely time with your guests on Sunday.

I like the survey answers. Little sneak-peeks into Jo's mind... Nice to get to know a little more about you and what makes you "tick"!

Enjoy the weekend. Have a Happy Easter!

  5. I hate cleaning too, I do it the FlyLady Crisis Cleaning way, 15 minutes at a time. I am jealous that you can sing, I can not!!!! Have a great Easter!!! xoxo

  6. I did most of my cleaning yesterday, but the vacuum conked out! We are going to spend Sunday with family, it will be very low key at my SIL for a BBQ. Have a Happy Easter!

  7. Just think how good you'll feel when the cleaning's done. Until the next time :-)

  8. Liked that list of questions and your great answers. Cleaning here too but not because of company coming just that I've put it off way too long.
