Plans for 2013

So Happy New Year and welcome to my plans for 2013 both personally and blog wise. I have been thinking of different things I wanted to do this year and have finally committed to some new ideas.  There are some things which I will continue to do namely Storytelling Sunday which will be happening this weekend on the first Sunday of the month.

The first project I am committing to is Project Life. This is something I have followed for a couple of years on other people's blogs mainly here with Elise, Ali and Cathy

I am planning on taking photographs every day and storing them at Project 365's site so I have a storage place where I can filter my pictures from into my Project Life album.I figure this shouldn't be too difficult as I take photos most days anyway. Nothing too earth shattering, I mean today was the hair dye box I used which gives you an idea. I think I will use stash for my project perhaps with a digital kit I can print out to keep costs to a minimum.

I pledged last year to read 100 books but when my Bipolar kicks in the reading goes out of the window so 39 was my grand total. This year I have set myself 50 books to read, which I hope is more achieveable.

As I have shelves full of books I shouldn't have to buy any, unless I find one I really want to read. Perhaps I should rejoin the library.

I also have a queue of knitting/crochet projects on Ravelry which I am challenging myself, along with lots of other knitters, to complete by year end.

On a personal note, I aim to get to the gym more frequently and join a choir.

So here's to more blogging and crafting and personal development in 2013.

  1. Great goals Jo! I look forward to seeing your project life. I am so keen to do it too but I think it could be hard to print stuff at uni! xx

  2. I'm going to make a list of the classes I have purchased and not completed and get to work on those. No big resolutions besides that, but I do need to get back to the gym!

  6. That looks like a do-able list of intentions and wishing you every success. I'm thinking about how best to record the everyday too.
