Colour Combo Bloghop

Welcome to our third month of the Colour Combo Bloghop organised by Amy.
You should have arrived here from JO. C who I am sure delighted you with fun and crafty goodness. If you are a regular bloghopper you will know the drill, if not then basically follow all the blogs round in one big circle. You start and finish at Amy's blog. The full list is at the bottom of this post should you get lost.

I have to apologize profusely for having a slight brainstorm and doing this month's colours a month early last month, therefore I am doing the same colour combo but in a different way.

I was wracking my brain thinking what I could do which was not scrapbooking and I came across the flowers idea. It is Summer after all, well maybe on some days. My favourite flowers are cottage garden plants and roses in particular, so here are a few beautiful roses I found for your delectation.

Château de Clos Vougeot is a Climbing rose developed by David Austin famous in this counrty and abroad for his traditional roses.......

This rose is slightly more lilac than blue but it has a heavenly scent apparently...........

Royal Philharmonia is a beautiful off-white rose with a slight scent...............

The Suntory Blue rose pictured below was developed through genetic engineering in 2008 in Japan using state of the art technology.................

If you want to read about how this was achieved then follow this linK.
Then I gave in and did a digital page

The template is a freebie from Cathy Zielske.

The papers are Rhonna Farrer's Sorbet Dream range and the paint splatter is also from this range. I reduced the opacity so it didn't stand out so much.

So our next stop is over here at Stephanie's blog. She is lady inspired by scrapbooking so much she wrote her sociological thesis based upon it. This should be an interesting post.

Here is the blogroll should you get lost.................

  3. LOL...I'm not sure there was anything sociological about my post today, but I used pictures of an ice storm with summer hue colors. :)

  5. Love your digi page. I don't like the blue rose, though, so unnatural, gives me the creeps
