Santa Claus is coming to town........................... yep today is the traditional Wells Rotary Santa Parade. Every year on the first weekend in December, the Rotarians of which Dad is a member, hold this annual event in the market square and through Wells. Santa comes in a proper sleigh with real life reindeer and sleighs down the street with the marching band and his lil elves.
The Mother and I as supporters of the dad get to run the mulled wine stall,
with me
heckling encouraging people to buy our wares. Very nice mulled wine it is too and non-alcoholic for the drivers. This year we did a fair old trade especially as we were next to the soup stand and near the coffees. I love this day as loads of families come and the children as are so excited to see real reindeer up close. This year we also had a mummy and baby donkey called Jock. After the parade, the mother and I went down to the church at the bottom of the city to see the Christmas trees displayed. I tried to take some bokeh pictures but I think they would have looked better once it got dark oh well maybe another day I'll give it a try.
Anyway in other news, I've won 2 blog prizes, one from Liberty Cottage and the other from Project Team Ewan so when I get the prizes I'll tell you a bit more.
